I have been a patient of Dr Mistry for the past year. I have found him to be warm, calm and caring towards me, particularly during difficult periods of my life. He is patient and understanding, and allows me to talk completely freely. I'd highly recommend him and will be sad to see him leave The Hoo.

Dr.Mistry has always, in my experience, worked with his patients in a professional and empathic manner. He has a calm, quiet demeanour which I think works well and he listens to what his patients have to say.

I have had the opportunity to be a patient of Dr Mistry. He has guided me through some very difficult and distressing periods of my life. He has facilitated my mental health progress to a manageable reality, stressing the importance that exercise plays to improve mental health, and which I have taken on fully as part of my routine. In my opinion, he as has gone beyond his duty, as he wanted to know the issues that were troubling me, and gave me the tools for dealing with them. I suppose most importantly, he is a warm and confident gentleman who made me feel at ease from the moment I met him. He is an asset to the psychiatric profession and I believe anyone who gets the opportunity to be treated by him will feel better, think better.

I have worked alongside Dr Mistry and have found him to be approachable, reliable, reflective and helpful. He has made sure he is available and present when we need to discuss mutual clients and has gone out of his way to support clients when they need it. He has also helped me out in a psycho-educational group for sleep problems and presented in a friendly and clear manner. Would highly recommend.
